#RIP TDE Affiliate Alori Joh Dies At 25

Does anybody have an answer why it seems the good die young? We woke up to some sad news this morning. Alori Joh has passed away at the tender age of 25. For those of you who may not know who this young lady was, she was a very beautiful and talented singer from Carson whose voice blessed many TDE songs, most notably Kendrick Lamar's Hii Power.

RANCHO DOMINGUEZ - Authorities today said a woman found dead at the base of a radio transmission tower in the unincorporated Rancho Dominguez area near Compton apparently committed suicide by jumping from the structure.

Deputies were called to the 2200 block of University Drive at 4:38 p.m. Monday, said Lt. Christopher Bergner of the sheriff's Carson Station.

The woman, who was in her 20s, died at the scene, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. She apparently climbed up the tower and jumped, Winter said. Her name was withheld, pending notification of her relatives.

We first met Alori Joh one Thursday night at HomeGrown Radio. She was sweet, funny and down to earth. Her The Love Religion project earned her the respect as a songstress to be reckoned with.

Friends and family took to Twitter to express their grief and send their condolences. The details of her untimely death are unknown at the moment. We will keep you posted as details emerge. A candlelight vigil is being held at HomeGrownRadio tonight at 7pm. Rest In Peace, baby girl...
