Niggas Are Just Better Off - IN JAIL!

Hey Black Man... Want to live a longer and healthier life...? If the answer is yes, then follow me - to JAIL! Yes, according to a "study" on North Carolina inmates, Black men live longer inside of jail than they do in the free world. Ain't this some shit?!

The study took 100,000 male prisoners from North Carolina between the ages of 20 and 79 from the years 1995-2005. Within the prison, less than 1% of the Black property population died and that was synonymous with the death rate white prisoners. However, when the study focused on black men living outside in the free world, statistics varied greatly between Blacks and Whites across all age ranges.

According to Reuters, black men in prison, "were less likely to die of diabetes, alcohol- and drug-related causes, airway diseases, accidents, suicide and murder than black men not in prison.” Healthcare seems to play a huge role in these statistics. Hung-En Sung of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York told Reuters, "“Ironically, prisons are often the only provider of medical care accessible by these underserved and vulnerable Americans.”

When it comes to getting proper health care.. YES, Black are maybe better off in prison - statistically. So, what is that saying about healthcare in the free world? Hmmm. I think reformation is due.
